The Graben next to St Stepehens Cathedral is the very heart of Vienna and a very nice area gto go shopping. Especially around christmas with its grand chandeliers it is a unique experience. At new year´s eve everybody dances the Donauwalzer and the Graben turns into a vast ballroom. It leads to the golden quarter and Kohlmarkt with the fancy shops from Cartier to Prada, Gucci, Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent.
