Cable railway from Como to the small town of Brunate (1084 meters above sea level). Built in 1894, it's open from 6 am to 23 pm. Single fare 3.00€.

The Funicular railway station, opened in 1894- In just a few minutes it takes you up to Brunate, known as "the balcony of the Alps" because of its breath-taking views from several different spots. May envoy splendid Art Nouveau villas in the end of the 19th century.
