A downtown grocery/restaurant. Nothing fancy just a sloppy hamburger or a sandwich. Great for hangover food.

Corner shop with all basic necessities. Not the classiest joint, but they have a grill and make good hamburgers and subs that are fairly cheap.

On this street, as you take Njálsgata up the neighbourhood, to the intersection with Frakkastígur. There you find Drekinn. Across the street from there is Reykjavík Roasters and next door you have Brauð og Co bakery.
