Great hiking trail around the lagoon for an afternoon walk. Arched bridge to cross lagoon is at Lighthouse Street a few blocks from where you are staying.

The Ballona Lagoon is a marine preserve. There are 2.4 miles of trails to walk around, with information boards periodically placed for visitors.

Just down the street, on the way to the beach. Look for ducks, blue heron and cranes.

Nice place for a stroll. Lots of birds at the right time of the year. Walk to the end of the path and out along the jetty.
