This is located at the "Back Gate" to Joshua Tree National Park and is far less crowded than the Main Gate Visitors center. Summer hours are limited - although you can drive thru this gate without paying admission.. you will be asked to show your paid admission or show your Park Pass if you depart through the main gate.
