Great for elephant seal watching! Particulary in the spring, when the babies lie with their mommas on the beach. Amazingly beautiful beach.

One of the most popular beaches in the area. You can see elephant seals here throughout the year but they're greatest in number from December through June.

This is a safe beach for swimming (if you can brave the cold waters) and a great place to got for a beach hike. Low tide and full moon rise is spectacular here. Sometimes the beach is closed due to breeding elephant seals (check with the Park first). There's also a visitor center here open at the weekends and summer holidays.
