For great Texas BBQ, try Pennies. Located in a little house with outdoor seating on a private patio, this local gem flies under the tourist radar. Try the tamales and the smoked chicken and you'll understand real BBQ.

If you're getting too much seafood and need a change, then stop by Pennies for some of the best BBQ around. They also have homemade tamales and barbacoa but call ahead for that.
