A short drive down the road and you can find yourself at Mohawk Dam - built in 1935 to help with flood control. Around the dam offers great fishing for smallmouth, catfish, saugeye, and many other species.

Mohawk Dam, located in Jefferson Twp. Coshocton County OH, northwest of Nellie is a dry dam constructed by the US Army Corps of Engineers in the mid 1930's. Impounds the Walhonding River height 111 ft. length 2,330 total capacity 285,000 acre feet.
