The Boat Takes you to Alexandria VA and Georgetown, and The Wharf (in DC) . Round trip--- $18 - $20 depending on which destination you choose One Way --- $10

Take a cruise on the Potomic River- see the monument by night, or dinner and dancing, or taxi over to DC/National Mall and see sites of DC, or just taxi to National Harbor and enjoy a ride on the Great Ferris Wheel and dine on the water...

They offer a water taxi from Georgetown, DC to Old Town and several other noteworthy sites in the area. I have not been quite yet, but it seems like a fun way to see several sites from a calming and laid back perspective
