A 30 minute drive south east will lead you to the town of Stockton and nearby is this designated Important Bird Area. To date there are have been documented sightings of over 100 different bird species April-August. Note: Please no dogs March 1 - September 30th to avoid bird nesting season. Groomed cross country skit trails are open during the winter season.
