A good day trip. Grab an early bus and spend the day. Beyond the silver jewelry there is a rich history and culture with restaurants, bars. But don't miss out on the finest silver jewelry.

One of the "Pueblo Magicos". Approximately 4 hours from CDMX by car. Very cute town that is worth a couple day stay if you have the time.
