From the Tillamook Indians to Captain Gray’s 1788 voyage into Tillamook Bay, this stretch of the north Oregon coast is a living memorial to those who came before. Tillamook County’s rich history is preserved for all to enjoy at the Tillamook County Pioneer Museum.
Great museum to learn a lot about Tillamook's past and how it came to be as well as artifacts that date back to the 1800's!! It is also surrounded by a handful of restaurant's and a few cafe's plus a bakery!
REALLY GREAT: You will not believe this little museum has all of this! Abraham Lincoln, the history of animals, WW2 museum. Absolutely amazing collection!
Tons of pictures with stories, lots of pioneer era artifacts, not very big plan on an hour or two depending on how much you want to read.
