Sure see the art- but be sure to go into the indoor courtyard. Beautiful space. BYOF or grab something at the cafe. They have wifi too, so it's a cool place to work.

One of the best quiet places to sit and talk in the busy area around Verizon Center/Gallery Place is the Portrait Gallery's glass domed courtyard. The cafe is conveniently adjacent.
