The Svetica (Virgin or Monte Madonna) is a military base in Sisan, built under the same hill that lies to the east of Šišan and northwest of Ližnjan. The main function of this facility was the protection of the Kvarner Bay, so the Svetica is also called the "guardian of Kvarner".

The Svetica (Monte Madonna) is a former military base in Sisan, built under the same hill that lies to the east of Šišan and northwest of Ližnjan.With some awsome sight at the coast therefore great for photoshooting.Easy reachable,one part with car,and the rest by walk.Recommended with bicycle.
