Great beach, a bit of a drive but worth it.

This beach is a further drive and it requires you pay a small fee to enter the National Park. However I feel it is more quiet than other beaches and it feels closer to nature. There is a visitor center you can visit and our kids love it in there. The drive there is also a favorite of mine, so quiet and relaxing.

The national seashore is a must for nature enthusiasts. In the summer they host watching sea turtle hatching. The beaches here are not accessible by car, so you’ll have to park and walk, however this makes the beaches that much more pristine.

Take a drive southward and visit the Padre Island National Seashore, where you can enjoy the beach, learn about the natural marine and wildlife of the area, and learn about North Padre Island, the longest natural barrier island in the world!
