This is about 30 minutes away and features a retail store with many Maine items and The Woodshed, a small, mostly outdoors, pub, featuring local beers and sandwiches. It is home to the “Maine Cabin Masters” show and the members of the crew can often be found mingling with guests and helping out in the pub!

Kennebec Cabin Company has opened its headquarters in downtown Manchester, just west of Maine’s capital city and in the heart of the Cabin Masters’ hometowns and home turf. Chase and the team bought the building from the Daggett family, who fans will remember as the subject of the the first-ever episode. The homestead was originally built in the 1850s on the site of an old tavern (which gave Ryan an idea for the future, but that’s another story), and you can still see the old hitching post out front. The Daggett family lived there for 60 years (locals will fondly remember their general store across the street), before the sale and renovation for a new life as a welcoming destination in Central Maine. Stop by the retail store, this summer, Wednesday through Saturday from 10-5 and Sundays from 12-4! Our address is 915 Western Ave., Manchester.
