If you're in Union Square it's worth it to pop by Farallon just to have a drink / appetizer in the lounge and see the amazing decor. (check out their website below for a preview). I've had many special occasion dinners here (it can sometimes be a little loud and hectic - you can ask to be seated in one of the quieter rooms, there are several).
