The VFW sponsors Friday night bingo and the 4th of July weekend rodeo. Both are great events! The VFW Rodeo arena comes alive for three nights each over Memorial Day weekend and 4th of July. It has been called the best small town rodeo in Texas! You are allowed to bring your own cooler with beverages and snacks, or buy food from the local vendors on site. They don't sell alcoholic beverages, but you can bring your own. Friday night bingo happens in the VFW building behind the rodeo arena. Bring your own alcoholic beverages and buy food on site. It's fun and you could leave with a little spending money in your pocket for the weekend to come!
