This is a great place to take photos of your Vacay. It was open for a long time but the old gentleman that owned it passed away. But it is filled with buildings made for fun Kodak moments. Someone new must’ve purchased it, I heard they are fixing it up. They now have a train for children to ride. It’s really worth taking a look at. It’s out on River Road. You will see a house made out of bottles, an old saloon, many old buildings and artifacts, a cemetery that was damaged in the flood. From the 17 or 1800s, a house made from bottles, i’m so much more. It’s right across the street from the river. It was flooded in our 2015 flood as well as the cottages. The cottages were rebuilt. Pioneertown is a little rundown but it’s still A fun time to take pictures and wander around. I believe there is a gift shop open out there. Don’t miss it!

Pioneer Town in Wimberley is a small replica town. There's nothing better than walking around and pretending you're in the Old West. It even has a working ice cream parlor, an old opera house, and a building entirely made of bottles!
Elaborate, fake Wild West town includes a saloon, cowboy museum, opera house, ice cream parlor. For Roadsiders: a bottle house and a big jackalope with a saddle! The train runs Thursday- Saturday!
Best old timey town around. Step back into the days when people built Main Street facades for tourist to get a sugary taste of the old west. 7A Ranch Resort is a Wimberley institution, started in 1948 by Mr and Mrs Raymond L. Czichos with five rock cottages on seven acres. Since then, 7A has grown into a 142-acre family vacation destination. A stroll through the dusty streets of Pioneer Town is a nostalgic family tradition for many of us that grew up coming to the river every summer. While admittedly a bit dated, Pioneer Town has a very cool bottle house (yes, constructed of thousands of bottles), a classic ice cream parlor, a lovely old west chapel with stained glass and plenty of kitsch to keep you hee-hawing. (7A also offers day passes with river access, see website for details).
