A great hike for all fitness levels and no reservations are needed. If you want to see animals, go with a guide, or just go for a nice hike.

National Park created on September 30, 1991, striking for its great scenic beauty and volcanic activity. Within its limits you can find the ceiba tree with more than 400 years, rainforest trails with the wonderful wildlife resources of the area and of course, the lava flows that fell in 1992. The park has two entrances. The oldest leads to a 6 km trail, where you can see lava from past eruptions. The newest entrance is equipped with a universal path, it is 2 km long and has beautiful views.
