Oh,... the French! They know how to make an irresistible pan de chocolate. And the croissants are made the way they should be made. Butter, butter and more butter... (most French are skinny!!!)

You must must must visit Peninsula while you are visiting. Flour and butter flown in from France and pastries and breads that are handcrafted daily. Add a strong shot of espresso and voila! Anything you have hear is going to be amazing. Though, we are partial to the classic French Baguette, Pain au chocolat, and the "Chocolate Tongue." Pick up some wine, cheese, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar from On The Mark Fine Foods on your way home and you're in for a good day.
