Don’t miss a visit to this family favourite of ours. If you are after a real bar with character then you have to visit AVOCADO ! Great bar, fantastically friendly staff, easy going atmosphere, playing some great music and interesting locals. Alex, the owner is an absolute legend, makes you feel very comfortable and he loves what he does which makes it a better experience. The highlight here is a large beer garden and bar out back, perfect for summer days. You can’t beat having the view of the Eiger Mountain while having a delicious beer. It is simply awesome!

If you find yourself over in Grindelwald, close to the First cable car, is this friendly little bar run by a very nice Australian guy. Stop in for coffee or a beer.
