Nyon is a pretty old town on the lake side looking towards the alps. Walk up to the Roman ruins and the chateau. wander through the small streets. Visit the Market on the last Sunday of the month. Check out the shops and restaurants. Walk along the lake.

Take a walk along the lake, get ice cream in the Rive area, browse the antiques market on the wkd and shop the little boutiques, go check out the Roman columns and take beautiful scenic pictures of the lake. Nyon is a beautiful ancient Roman little town. Definitely worth a detour.
