Beautiful spot nearby. In the summer, rent a boat or stand-up paddle board from the Marina. In winter, there are trails carved out for cross-country skiing that go all the way across. There's also a trail that goes around the reservoir that's especially wonderful in fall.

There is a bike path that goes around the entire reservoir (there is a small section where you are on the road with cars but there is a very good shoulder). One of my favorite easy bike rides (but it is long).

Lake Dillon is only 5 miles away with tons of activities to do year round! You can rent sail boats, fishing boats, paddle boats, paddle boards, sit by the beach, fish, or hike around the beautiful lake. Check out www.townoffrisco.com/play for information on boat and rod rentals.

Dillon Reservoir, sometimes referred to as Lake Dillon, is a large fresh water reservoir located in Summit County, Colorado, south of I-70 and bordered by the towns of Frisco, Silverthorne, and Dillon. It is a reservoir for the city of Denver, and its waters are under the control of Denver Water.
