The Lake is ran by the Army Corps of Engineers and has specific water access locations. A popular location is at the dam where you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise or sunset walk or go down for free access to the water. Comal Park is around the corner from the Lake loft and is a $10 for full day access. If you come on the weekends, expect it to be busy and get there early! Beautiful park with beach access, BBQ pits, playground and miles of shoreline.
