El Malecón is our waterfront. It features a monumental Mexican flag, water fountains, boardwalk and a couple of restaurants. You can also take boat tours around the harbor or for sport fishing.

Here you will find all kinds of activities, mainly souvenir shopping and food. Right behind the flag pole there is also a water light show after dusk. Continuing on the walkway waterfront you will find people offering small boat rides around the bay but the main ride would be for grey whale watching (Winter and Spring). Further down the walkway, right at the end you will find the famous Mercado Negro, Black Market, where you will find various types of sea food if you have the nose for it.
