Lots of trails for hiking and biking. It has water access for canoeing and paddle boating in the Pedernales River

Take a dip in the cool river water, or hike the mapped trails. My favorite is the exploring the really cool caves. They also offer bike trails & areas for rock climbing. Make sure you go prepared!

This is an awesome spot! Reservations are not needed or even accepted. Entry is $5 cash per person. This canyon & forest preserve along the Pedernales River offers rock climbing, mountain biking, fishing, and hiking. A great spontaneous destination to spend a morning or afternoon.

Canyon & forest preserve along the Pedernales River, frequented by rock climbers & mountain bikers. Entrance is on the way to Hamilton Pool Preserve. 30 MINUTE DRIVE
