Small but beautiful town, nice restaurants and nice shops. There is even a photo exhibition during the summer outside worth looking at.

You probably drove through Hvolsvöllur on your way here, we recommend you go there to do your grocery shopping as well if you want to buy any liquor (you can’t buy alcohol in Iceland except in stores called Vinbudin) At Hvolsvöllur there is a hotel called midgardur which has events throughout the year, you can check their facebook page for upcoming concerts and events, they also show sport games and teach yoga classes.

Small town only 5 minutes away that you can get groceries in and try a few restaurants or buy ice cream :) There is also a liqour store:)
