The Rum Distillery is in walking distance of the Blue Bonnet Cottage. The people/host are friendly, funny and informative regarding distillation techniques. Rum lovers will take a bottle of rum home with yourself.

Best tree-top deck. Along the road to or from Jacob’s Well, it's lovely to stop for a fresh mojito among the branches of the huge oak tree at Cypress Creek Reserve Rum Distillery. David and Laura Watson started distilling rum in 2009 and produce their barrel aged, crystal and aged vanilla bean rum right here in Wimberley. Take the tour or just take a break in the trees with a handcrafted cocktail, spiked with rum made right here in our little piece of heaven.

At Cypress Creek Reserve Rum, you can do a tasting of their three different rums. They serve cocktails using their rums and you can sit in their upstairs loft with views of their property. They also do distillery tours for $5 per person

This is an informal stop-in just down the street. (you will pass it if you come in on Jacob's Well Road from RR12). Sit outside in the shade with rum drinks gazing at deer and horses. Very very casual.
