Þakgil (e. Thakgil) Canyon is a beautiful place near the village Vik. It is great for hiking, both for amateurs and those who are more experienced. Distance is about 111 kilometers (68 mi).

South - hidden treasure, is like coming into an adventure land not from this world, absolutely amazing place for camping and now they even have huts to rent

Fantastic hiking on a good day. Prepare yourself for long hikes of up to 18km. Stunning scenery and views of the glaciers.
