One more MUST SEE geothermal area on Reykjanes Peninsula. A boardwalk leads through the area. Seltún has many mudpots and fumaroles, and minerals deposited from geothermal solutions provide colorful sediments. In the area you will find a parking and walking paths. Setún is a part of Reykjanes nature reserve. Location: Road 42, parking, near Kleifarvatn.

It is a short drive to this Geothermal area from Hafnarfjord. On the way to this area is a lake called Kleifarvatn.
