The center for modern art in Reykjavík. They have some nice exhibitions and bar/coffe shop/restaurant as well. Very cool spot with great views over the harbor area and Reykjavík.

One of the main landmarks of Reykjavík, Harpa, the music and conference hall. Go check out its unique architecture and explore its great view. Inside are two nice restaurants, Smurstöðin and Kolabrautin.

Be aware that the only stores that sell alcohol are state run stores called Vínbúðin. One is downtown, at Austurstræti 10a, and inside a small shopping mall near by Grandi called Eiðistorg. It takes you around 10-15 minutes to walk there.
