vestmannaeyjar.is - Beautiful Island, so quiet and great to spend the day there. It's around 1 hour drive Landeyjahofn, harbor. Eather you take the car over or walk and/ or take taxi. We enjoy to visit Eldheimar, museaum and volcano. So its good to leave early in the morning as you need the hole day.

It on the way from/to the airport, so I put it here. I do get lot of questions regarding Blue Lagoon. It´s number one for many tourists, we prefer Secret Lagoon Hot Spring. Its around 40 minutes drive from the farm.

Gufudalurhveragerdi.is - Hveragerði is the small town that you drive pass driving from Reykjavík to the farm. It´s often calles "The Bloosoming Town" They have Geothermal park, known for beautiful flowers and quiet town. Nice to visit the swimming pool at Laugaskard it thermal bath. Town people say that gardening is the local sport!
14 - 17th of June they have flower show. And the last weekend in June they host an annual flower exhibition.

This is the mountain behind the cabin! My parents own part of it so you are welcome to go for hike. If you follow the path from the cabin (just open the fence, and please close again) You will come to the waterfall that belongs to the family, its so peasuful and the water taste nice. In July/August you can go and pick blueberries.

At minni borg that´s 20 minutes from the farm, yoy will have gasstation, small minimarket and great geothermal swimming pool. My family prefers this pool over the pool at Selfoss.
