Grate place for nice walks and a great view to Snæfellsjökull - glacier. You can walk out to the small "island" on the low-water tide. Just be sure to head home before the flood tide comes in :)

Great place to take a walk and look at some of the old traces of the world war 2. Also possible to dine and look around inside the amazing Pearl. Best way there is to bicycle along Ægissíða (on map).
