HOME MADE ICECREAM!
Not budget friendly but wow! They make their own Icecream and sorbet. They have a cow farm and use their own ingredience for the Icecream.

Parks & Nature
Beautiful black beach. Picturesque area and the mountain! WOW.
I only recommend this place when you have a clear sky. Here is nothing to see if it is cloudy.
Entrance FEE 800 ish.

The waterfall Svartifoss in our National Park Skaftafell. Very beautiful basalt column waterfall, 45 minutes hike up hill.

Beautiful Waterfall next to road 939. I recommend you to drive up to the waterfall and then back to road nr 1. The road 939 is a mountain road and can be slow and tuff to drive that I don't recommend.

Beautiful glacier, Hoffellsjökull. I would recommend 4x4 cars, it is not always possible to drive there on smaller non 4x4 cars.
Short hikes / long hikes, for free. Nice to end the hike by going to the geothermal hot tubs in Hoffell (fee).

Lovely waterfall 1 hour and 15 minutes east of our House. For those who are travelling though the east fjords might want to stop by.

Very nice, warm swimming pool. With two hot tubs. Very much recommended for everyone.

I really recommend these hot tubs, always except in summer, then they are very very crowded!
In winter, remember to check the temerature of the hot tubs before you get undressed - some of them are warmer than the others.
Good to have a warm cap in the winter so you wont get cold.

Very nice restaurant and a brewery. I really recommend this place, located in Hólmur. Please check the opening hours and remember that after one beer you are not allowed to drive. Have a driver and take few beers with you to our House. ;)

Here you can find beautiful local handcraft. Not budget friendly but these items are real memory to bring back home. Wool sweaters, wool gloves. Souvenirs made from lava, stones, wood. Just name it. Must stop!
