This is my favorite spot in California. I always see whales and dolphins here and you can take a short hike to the top of an overlooking peak and feel like you are on top of the world.

An easy flat hike with endless beauty and water is the Bridge To Nowhere. A short drive away. There is bungee jumping on the weekends, and on a hot day it’s a great retreat from the

An epic spot to hike for the day - they filmed tons of sci fi movies here including Star Trek and the Flinstones. This is the closest jumping off point of the PCT and how to see it, and be on it, within just over an hour.
