Great spot for a quick bite while touring the Valle de Guadalupe with a great view of part of the Valley. Nestled by an artificial lake in the middle of Vena Cava Winery, you get to enjoy the great wines by Vena Cava, sample some of the food from the Corazon de Tierra food truck and drink some beers from Cerveceria Wendlandt. Try the lechon (suckling pig) tacos they are delicious. I personally like the Big Blend and their Sauvignon Blanc from Vena Cava.

I'm a pasta lover, they're a seafood restaurant that makes some of the best seafood pasta out there. Great prices, laid back atmosphere, good wines. Definitely a delicious option close to our gated community.

An Ensenada Landmark, it still retains a bit of charm from its glory days. Although food wise it isn't my first option, their desserts and pastries are delicious, fresh and unbeatable. I definitely recommend a stop for coffee/tea and some french pastries, try the Coffee Eclair (Eclair de Café), the Religieuse (Monja) or their Croissants filled with Almond Paste and drizzled with Almonds.

The winery is perched on the hill with a stunning and different view of the Valle de Guadalupe. They have an onsite restaurant with tapas (Spanish small plates) available. I definitely recommend doing the premium wine tasting and asking for Alonso to be your guide.

Walk through one of the several pine forest trails. Camping and overnight is recommend, although a full day trip is possible. Road is paved all the way up.

Walk through one of the several pine forest trails. Camping and overnight is recommend, although a full day trip is possible. Road is paved all the way up.
