The valley of Thor (Þórsmörk) is a great place for hiking, beautiful surrounding. To get there you need to do a super jeep tour or go with a bus. Recommend South Coast Adventure for a tour to there

Volcanic and geothermal area. Nice geothermal pool. Only available in summer by 4x4 car. If you plan to go there in winter then I recommend South Coast Adventure company. Great for hiking in summer
