People gathered here from all over in the early '90s to see the aliens land here. ... We're still waiting, don't worry. Just people on Snæfellsnes still. Well, and the Hidden People and elves of course. Maybe you'll see them there.... ;)

Go horseback riding with these guys, only a 15 min walk from our apartment and a much shorter drive obviously :) They are superb guides, very helpful and positive. Go for a ride up to the amazing high waterfall and back in an hour - and yes, this will also be an unforgettable hour in your life! Unforgettable!

A geothermal pool like you have never experience. It's a size compared to the very small ones we have across the country. Huddled under the mountain on the South side of the peninsula you drive over the foot hills from the north side where our apartment is. It's a perfect day. Outside in the cold wind and the pool soooo warm!

Need to rent a car? This is a good one, just look them up online to be convinced. Drive safe and follow advice and instructions because our roads are only one lanes out in the country. NEVER stop on the shoulder, ALWAYS find a listed spot to stop.
