Keys View is approximately 26mi from the property. It is a lookout point that provides incredible panoramic view of mountains and the Coachella Valley. Do not forget to soak up the sunrise or sunset experience at Keys View. Dress accordingly as the high elevation may be extremely hot or cold (and windy).

Safety
Apply sunblock, have a good wide brim hiking hat, sunglasses & PLENTY of water, dry food/snacks for you & everyone in your party. Check weather forecast AM before expedition. We do not recommend wearing open toe shoes while visiting the park. When appreciating the natural beauty of JTNP, please do be cautious and respectful of the desert's wildlife and its plants.
Our kids are 5 and 8 so we really can't handle strenuous hike, but we do enjoy Cholla Cactus nature trail, Barker Dam trail, Arch Rock trail & Hidden Valley Nature trail (our favorite).
