Pioneertown was originally built as and Old Western 1940's movie set. From frontier stables, to saloons and more western atmosphere. More recently known for its iconic venue and bar Pappy & Harriets, which hosts surprisingly intimate, yet bigger named shows over the past 20+ years, every weekend. Pioneertown is also home of many artisanal works ranging from home made soaps, wool twine, and pottery artists. Not only does the MazAmar Pottery barn include many local artists and their work, it also offers pottery wheel classes.
