Parks & Nature
The islands neighbouring Istanbul each have different level of access to the nature, but motor vehicles are not allowed, you reach there after a 1,5 hour ferry journey from Beşiktaş (timetable provided in the flat), so you are really getting away from the city. I am not fond of the horse carriages in the Büyükada island as the horses are not that well treated but people use them to get to top of the island, and take the holy walk on foot. I do walk all the way and it takes 45 minutes to get to the same place carriages take you. You can enjoy the details of old houses, and the island museum. At the top of the holy walk you reach to the Greek church and can enjoy a lunch at the restaurant.
