National Park Activities
If you weren't sure how to spend your time in the National Park, these are my recommendations for different hikes to go on. Let me know which ones you enjoyed the most!
The "Must Do" hike of the park. A very popular and easy 1 mile (24 minute walk) hike in the middle of the park with picnic tables and bbq grills around too! Important to note that dogs aren't allowed on this trail

A guided path through some really cool rock formations with info signs along the way about the desert. Also, a great place to take some sunrise photos!

A very scenic hike, especially when there's water in the dam, with the opportunity to see wildlife such as sheep and coyotes! I would suggest to get here earlier rather than later as the parking lot tends to get filled quickly on weekends and holidays

Barker Dam Nature Trail
Barker Dam Nature TrailA very scenic hike, especially when there's water in the dam, with the opportunity to see wildlife such as sheep and coyotes! I would suggest to get here earlier rather than later as the parking lot tends to get filled quickly on weekends and holidays
Another popular hike with a 1000ft elevation change that takes you to the top of the central peak in the park. With incredible views of the entire park it's a great location for sunrise or sunset photos!
Be warned that while offering beautiful views of the park, it is one of the more strenuous hikes in the park.

Ryan Mountain TrailAnother popular hike with a 1000ft elevation change that takes you to the top of the central peak in the park. With incredible views of the entire park it's a great location for sunrise or sunset photos!
Be warned that while offering beautiful views of the park, it is one of the more strenuous hikes in the park.
