Great hiking spot along the Guadalupe River with views of majestic bald cypress trees, relaxing rapids and picturesque houses. It’s not too long or strenuous so it’s a perfect hike for just about anyone.

River Road is one of those places you have to experience to truly appreciate it. Take this drive along the Guadalupe River into New Braunfels, but leave plenty of time because this winding road can take anywhere from 40-50 minutes into town.

River tubing is a treasured pastime in the Canyon Lake area. And you can’t get a better view of the winding banks of the Guadalupe River than from down below. There’s are many “toob” rental companies both at the intersection of 306 & 2673 and along River Road. You’ll want to book your toobs in advance as it gets pretty busy starting in April.
