The Joshua Tree Visitor Center is the most popular visitor center for guests looking to explore Joshua Tree National Park. Located near the downtown portion of the unincorporated community of Joshua Tree, the visitor center offers exhibits and a park store for those wanting a keepsake to remind them of the wonder they just experienced. Visitors often find themselves at this location as it serves as the main gateway to the park. During the busier months between October through May, it is a good idea to pick up a park pass at the visitor center to help expedite those wanting to enter the park as lines tend to form at the ranger station.

Originally the location of a corner store, then two different drugstores, our location on 55844 29 Palms highway was transformed into a coffeeshop in 1998. The local favorite pre-dated the arrival of Starbucks and served coffee and music to locals for 11 years. The location remained vacant until Cafe Ma Rouge took over the space and continued serving coffee, pastries, and food to patrons for several more years. When the location became vacant in 2016, three bright eyed young men signed a lease and opened Frontier Cafe. Each of the three owners take a hand in managing the business, contributing their own flare to the food, atmosphere, drinks, and music. In Yucca Valley, Frontier Cafe has found its home. We hope to remain here in perpetuity, serving delicious drinks and fare to our favorite faces.

Next door to P+H is the original attraction of this tiny burg, the Pioneertown "Mane Street"-- an assortment of Old-West themed buildings built in part by Roy Rogers in the 1940s, so that he and his cowboy buddies like Gene Autry could have a place near Hollywood to shoot their Westerns and have a good time. Since then, musicians from Paul McCartney, Robert Plant, Patti Smith, Paul Cauthen, Circle Jerks, Wynonna Judd, Neko Case, Lucinda Williams and many many more, have graced the P+H stage. The legendary bar has become and unmissable desert destination with a vibe that can't be matched. P+H continues the tradition of live music, the best barbeque, and good times in memory of Pappy, Harriet, and and all those who enjoy Pioneertown from yesterday and today.

The Station has custom t-shirts & souvenirs, California inspired vintage, psychedelic posters, records, pipes and other unique gifts. Outside under on the largest covered patio in the hi-desert you can grab great drip coffee, cold drinks and snacks.

We now roast on what is arguably the most advanced roaster in the entire world, and what represents the only redesign/reinvention of the coffee roaster in history, the Loring Smart Roaster. Among other attributes, it roasts the beans in a near-zero oxygen environment (preventing oxidization), creates moisture during roasting (keeping the beans from drying out), uses only 20% of the natural resources of a comparable roaster, and is a near-zero-emission piece of equipment! Come and enjoy a delicious cup of organic coffee and watch us roast coffee with love in Joshua Tree on a truly amazing roaster!
