Because the Old 29 Palms School house is nearby the 29 Palms Art Gallery and I love the food at the 29 Palms Inn (known to locals) all others the Oasis of Mara. I also would take my kids here when they were little. I love the history and memories made here.

The Center’s location brings with it a unique set of attributes – all of which serve to enhance the Center’s viability. It is located at the entrance and in the center of the artistically rich communities surrounding Joshua Tree National Park. The Los Angeles Times and The New York Times have recently called Joshua Tree the “new Bohemia” and “mecca” for the arts. The Joshua Tree National Park attracts over 1.4 million visitors a year, all of which must pass by the Center. We are a Member Supported/Cooperative Fine Art Gallery comprised of Painters, Photographers and Sculptors. Members are involved in every facet of the Gallery. Member Artists staff the Gallery on weekends. If you would like to be a Guest Artist or Become a Member, scroll to Membership.
Opening Receptions are on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 6 to 8 pm.
The Gallery is open from September thru June.
Invitational Shows-Open to the Public are in January and June.
The Gallery is closed in July and August.
