The shop sells homemade jams, soaps, wood fired pizza, aritsan breads and salads. You can do a wine tasting of local area wine, but not a winery. LA Cetto--modern and sleek. Winery tours available, tastings in the tasting room. Las Nubes--on the side of the hill overlooking the Valle. Restaurant and winery. Cava--Unique wine cave (cava) with a roof made from Ensenada fishing dorys. Cava tours and tastings. Also a nice outdoor patio with a small pond, craft beer and a food truck. Frida--Very popular bar and restaurant with a Frida Kahlo theme. Hacienda Adobe--Winery and hotel. Beautiful tasting room. Outdoor dining area with food truck. Dining at the hotel with advance arrangement. Bellinghausen Brewery--Craft brewer with German brewhaus theme. Serves brats and soft pretzels. Nice outdoor seating area. Weekend afternoon live music. Always a fun trip to La Bufadora! The Blowhole is a natural formation in the rock that shoots a geyser of water up every few seconds! A whole industry has sprung up around this natural feature. Take the "Gauntlet" walk from the parking lot to the blowhole and experience all the tourist shopping and merchandise on one street. Good street food stands serving seafood, tacos and beer. There are also 2 or 3 sit down restaurants with nice views. South of Ensenada. About 1.5 hours from La Mision.

City/town information

Wonderful walkable town with shopping and restaurants. Well worth the 30 minute drive just for the coast road view! Get on the toll road at La Fonda going south. There is a toll gate almost to Ensenada where the toll is about $2.30. They take dollars and pesos. As you come into town take the right fork and look for a parking garage on your right near McDonalds and Cinepolis. Inexpensive and safe place to park. Street parking is also generally safe if you can find it. Around the corner is the fish market. Even if you aren't buying fish, it's interesting to take a walk through. There are great taco shops there and you can get a bottled Mexican beer for 40 pesos ($2). Check out the wharf down the block where the cruise ships come in. There is a band shell for concerts, vendor booths, and a splash pad. It can get surprisingly hot here on the ocean late in the summer! Across the boulevard two streets east is the tourist shopping district, with a mixture of souvenir and other shopping, and restaurants. If you want to continue on to La Bufadora, it's another 30-40 minutes south. Follow the signs out of Ensenada to the turnoff that goes west on a long peninsula. You will be able to gps directions. There is a small parking fee and a small fee to use the bathrooms.
