Our favorite places to eat out in Cabanyal
Is a very nice spot there are all different types of foods and a good atmosphere.
You might have to queue if you go late but as soon as you get in they give you a table.

A great place next to our house to get Take away Traditional Spanish food.
Everything is cooked fresh everyday so you need to go before 1pm it can be sold out after 2.30pm
It is a brilliant way to try new things especially with kids to see if they like them.
I normally bring over our oven tray for the roast chicken there is one in the oven and I have other bowls that are above microwave if you want to save on them using plastic containers.

Modern Art Museum
I love this Museum the building alone is worth it was an old monastery with a fabulous courtyard. The exhibitions are temporary so always something new to see. It is free to visit.
Loads of nice cafes around it.

If you would like to try out some water sports . There are loads of place to try new things out.

This is a lovely, but a bit expensive supermarket. They have a fantastic gourmet section of spanish products, great for finding gifts to bring home.
Address at the Colon Metro stop and from there you can take the 31 bus just at the exit of the Supermarket to our house.

Sightseeing
The Silk Exchange is definitely worth a visit so beautiful and the entrance is free.

You can take the bus 99 (Mari Blas de Lazo) the stop is towards town if you walk up the Carrer del Pintor Ferrandis. Or you go by bike all the way over the bridge and get off at the shopping center.
It is free, no entrance unless you go into the museums.

You can have lunch around the castle or at the beach near by. We went swimming too as there were showers on the beach.

You can take the train to Sagunt it takes around 30 minutes from Cabanyal. From there you can walk up to the Castle and it is huge with loads to see and you get a great view of the valley below.
