Cap Malheureux's much-photographed church, the red-roofed Notre Dame Auxiliatrice, is worth a quick peek inside for its intricate woodwork and a holy-water basin fashioned out of a giant clamshell.
Well worth a visit if you like gardens or tropical plants. The giant water lilies are famous but there are also plenty of tropical plants and trees to see. The garden is very manageable size for walking around in a couple of hours and are not expensive to get in.
