This is one of our favorite seafood restaurant's to eat at and it is only a couple miles away from our house. You can arrive by car or by boat. Sometimes there is a gentleman there that does magic tricks for the kids and they love it. There is also a great view of the bay while your eating.

Nice big store that has curbside pickup. check and see if you can order groceries on your way down and see if you can pick them up. It is located about 15 min away from my house. it is located near Fulton so if you cross Copano Bay coming into Rockport you will drive right by it.

Sightseeing
This beach is great for small kids. It is shallow for a long way out. It also has a fishing pier to walk out on to fish. The beach/sand area is some what narrow, but it is fairly long. There usually is some sort of festival that is going on near here.

Great place to check out and has a nice fishing pier there. Several restaurants around there to choose from.

You can drive for miles along the beach to find just the right spot for you and your family. Bring plenty of sunscreen, beach toys, some sort of sun shade, and beach chairs and enjoy the the waves on the beach.

Port A Beach is a must to go and see. It has amazing Jetty fishing. You might even see stingrays, sea turtles or fish swimming by while your fishing. You can drive for miles along the beach to find just the right spot for you and your family. Bring plenty of sunscreen, beach toys, some sort of sun shade, and beach chairs and enjoy the the waves on the beach.
Boat Slip Rental
Boat slip rental around $ 40. / night for boats less than 25 ft. Actual boat parking is right in front of the Gnarly Marlin resturant. Make sure you have boat insurance info when booking slip. Must call or stop by Marina to get slip. The Restaurant has nothing to do with booking the slips. They have water and electricity for each slip. Don't forget to bring your ext cords to charge trolling motor batteries. If you plan on buying bait at the bait shop under Paradise Key restaurant you must bring cash.

Locking and Unlocking my Hurricane proof doors.
There is a French hurricane door into the house that locks differently than most French doors. Unlock door on left side and open door. Both of the doors can open but the one on left that you unlocked is mainly used for going in and out. If both doors are opened the one on the right has to be shut first. Then you lift the door handle up to lock it, then the main door can be shut. It's kinda like a refrigerator door where one door must be shut first or else they won't close and secure properly. To lock the door from inside, lift the handle and turn the deadbolt.
